Wear + Care

To keep your sleepwear looking its best:

  • Wash in cold water with like colors and a gentle, pH-neutral detergent.
  • Avoid bleach, bleach alternatives, or harsh spot-treatments/Oxyclean, and prolonged sun exposure.
  • Lay flat or hang to dry*

*If you accidentally toss your pieces, don't stress. They'll continue to keep you cool! What you will notice is that the color will fade a bit (more noticeable in darker colors) and you may see some of the wood pulp fiber striations. Like any other garment, no matter the composition, using dryer heat consistently will shorten the lifespan of the garment.

    • How does A DOMANI Fit?

      Our pieces are seriously stretchy and seriously flattering—no matter where you are in your cycle or how many hors d'oeuvres you had last night (answer: never enough). Order your true size even if you prefer a little wiggle room.

    • What size am I?

      Exactly the right size, of course! Our lines are sized 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and have been thoughtfully designed to gently hug curves at waists and hips without digging and to float over the body to maximize airflow and evaporative properties everywhere else.     • What does the fabric feel like?

      A dream. Jkjk. The fabric feels really high end. We opted for sustainable lyocell which by its nature is a higher gauge (and therefore more luxe) fiber to maximize both the thermoregulating properties AND the drape, swing, and movement of the pieces. These definitely feel more substantial than your average modal blend PJ or cotton nightgown, and that's by design. The feel is smooth, fluid, and cool to the touch.

    • When you say "natural fabric" what does that mean?

      While our signature A DOMANI material has the *feel* of a high performance fabric (which usually means mysterious synthetics), it's actually a signature knit made from natural fibers—eucalyptus, birch, beech, and pine. These all-natural fibers are paired with a thoughtful trace weaving of 7% sensitive-skin-approved elastane to ensure stability, longevity, and to maintain and support the natural stretch of the knit wood fibers throughout a lifetime of spin cycles and dance parties.

    • Where and how is A DOMANI manufactured?

      We are conscious of our impact and value transparency at every step in the A DOMANI production journey. Our pieces are meticulously designed in the USA. Our fabric is milled in Portugal in a European regulatory environment using FSC® and PEFC™ fibers and zero toxic dyes or chemicals. Our fabrics are Bluesign, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, OEKO-TEX®, and OEKO-TEX® STeP certified for environmentally friendly and socially responsible manufacturing and our garments are ethically sewn at our beloved family-owned partner factory in Mexico.     Keeping Cool

    I am not sure about this product yet. I do like that it keeps me cool while sleeping, but the feel of the fabric is strange. It is also really cold. I like to put on my PJs and relax in the evening, but I can't wear this material for that. It is too cold and not cozy. Can I put it in the dryer to warm it up a bit before I put it on?

    Oh dear! W're so sorry that our thermoregulating sleepwear isn't a good fit for your preferences. The fabric is indeed designed to feel cool and fresh at first touch (and then adapt to your body temperature as it fluxuates)...we totally get how this doesn't lend itself necessarily to cozy in the traditional sense. We wouldn't recommend putting your pieces in the dryer as that decreases their lifespan/color saturation; we swear by a robe for those in-between waking times (and are adding an A DOMANI robe to our list of next dream items to make!)

    Like Sleeping in a Wetsuit

    I hated this, I’m sorry to say. The material has a weird rubbery texture somewhere between latex and a wetsuit. It’s also really heavy and drapey, as opposed to light and airy, which I like sleepwear to be.

We use an innovative microtencel knit in an interlock construction. It is an all natural fiber from eucalyptus, birch, pine and beachwood. For our first collection, we chose this fabric to provide beautiful drape, a soothing feel and superior moisture absorption. As we grow we will continue to expand our line and will definitely look to add a featherweight quality.

    My New Favorite Pajama Brand

    Coming from a very picky sleeper (weighted blanket, sleep mask, air purifier) I have strong opinions on what it takes for a good night's rest. The A Domani pjs are a perfect compliment to my new night time routine. The weight of the pajamas feel luxurious and the material is so soft. This is quickly becoming my new favorite pajama brand!
